At my women's craft retreat, my dinner group hosted a photo booth! When the idea was first thrown out, I admit wasn't so sure about it. I mean, I was on vacation, and doing a photo booth meant I had to take photos and then edit them and send them out to everyone.....it just sounded like work! But one of the gals had brought fun props, so I got into the spirit and loved it! I encourage you to add a photo booth to any "event." It was so much fun, and so easy to do. Honestly, there wasn't an actual "booth" or even a fancy set up. We had a few $1 wooden props from Michaels which we painted minutes before the photos (a few people may have gotten a little paint on them, so I suggest painting in advance). I chose a location where lighting was good and there weren't any distractions in the background. That was it! And look how much fun we had.

These ladies are two of the ladies who took the workshop during the retreat! I blogged about them last week here. Didn't they capture some amazing images?

Simple Photo Booth

We did a second round for those ladies who missed out on the first round. Different background, same fun idea! Simple Photo BoothLyndsey wanted to show off her Pediatric Stroke Awareness bracelet supporting her niece. (Remember Kaysee's recent inspiring blog post?)Simple Photo BoothWait a minute. That's ME, in a photo! Without my kids! And guess what, I love it. My best friend and I together, laughing - captured. Simple Photo BoothI'm so glad we did this simple photo booth. This amazing group of ladies and I know have some photos showing how much fun we have as a group. While I'm sure we are all the ones behind the camera, it was nice for us to get in front of the camera together! And using little props made it more fun and easier to relax and have fun! Nothing like adding a mustache and a bow tie to spice up a photo!
