I have discovered a new cloth diaper LOVE with Bum Genius. When we had Milo, 4.5 years ago (yikes, that went fast), Derek and I made the conscious decision to use cloth diapers to be Earth friendly, and wallet friendly. At the time, I had done a little research and I liked the idea of a hybrid diaper where I could use a cloth insert or a biodegradable insert if we were out and about. So we chose gDiapers. Milo had a cute "fluff butt" as those in the cloth diaper world refer to it. We felt good about our decision, yet I completely underestimated the time I would spend stuffing inserts into diapers. When Sawyer was born, we stuck with cloth, yet slowly starting using more and more disposable diapers. Shortly after I had Hudson, I made the mistake of attempting a trip to the park without a diaper bag. Luckily my dear friend saved me by lending me her Bum Genius diaper. She opened my eyes to the world of All-in-One cloth diapers. I was hooked. Not only are these one size fits most, but they have snaps instead of velcro (which velcro stuck to everything in the washer before). Plus, there are tons of fun prints and colors. Like this one, the newest in the realm of Bum Genius, LOVE. cloth diaper love, bum genius freetimes, all in one cloth diaperI have slowly but surely been building my stash. Most from a Buy, Sell, Trade group on Facebook. Just look at that adorable, cloth diaper wearing baby! The funny thing is that Sawyer loves picking out which diaper Hudson is going to wear. So diaper changing becomes quite the event in our house. cloth diaper love, bum genius diapers, freetimesI encourage you to try out the Bum Genius Freetimes if you're considering cloth diapers but you're not sure. I love the ease of the all-in-one diaper, that I'm being gentler on the planet by using cloth, and that I'm not buying big boxes of disposable diapers each month!
