February Digital Project Life
February was a more quiet month for us. It was all about preparation for baby to arrive and dealing with several rounds of colds and pink eye.
This first spread will go back in January, but I had to share it! I included a few of my favorite images from my maternity session with TAustin Photography. While larger images will go on our walls, I wanted to have a few of them right in our yearly album.
The first week in February, Sawyer helped me set up for my Valentine's Day mini sessions. And since we were sick the rest of the week, we thought that doing some baking would help pass the time. I even had Derek take the camera so I could go in a photo with the kids! Check out the recipe for those Vegan Cookie Dough Truffles! The next week was my long weekend away to Whidbey Island! It was just what I needed for a little pre-baby rejuvenation. I even found a cute little end table in an antique shop that I painted to go in my living room! Since this week was photo light, I decided to add in a few of my favorite things the kids were doing/saying right now!Still dealing with colds, I found a new way of getting the kids to eat something - adding color to their yogurt. They were also learning about mixing colors to make other colors. Win-win. We had a few sunny days, so we spent some time outside, and I even managed a 37 week bump photo (since I was gone during 36 weeks). The last week in February was all about finishing the nursery (painting a crib takes FOREVER!). Sawyer transitioned into a big girl bed, and friends and family threw a "sprinkle" (baby shower) for me.
I am still loving doing a weekly Digital Project Life spread (or two if required). It helps me stay up to date and makes getting photos into an album seem less daunting.
