How is it that my baby girl, Hudson, is 2 months old already?! Wasn't I just griping about how pregnant I was, waiting to meet my baby? And now, here I am writing about my 2 month old baby girl. Hudson has gotten bigger and filled out. She reminds me of Milo as her cheeks are getting bigger (her nursing cheeks, as I like to call them).
Our house is filled with baby toys again, and Hudson is really starting to interact with them. Just like her big sister, she loves sitting in her little swing, smiling and cooing at the lion.
She is pretty laid back. Happy spending time on her mat. Usually at least one of the big kids lay next to her, so excited she's awake and playing. In fact, right after this photo was snapped, Sawyer laid right next to Hudson. It tickles my heart that they love their baby sister so much!
I don't have many quiet moments anymore. Early morning used to be my time. My alone time. My time to edit, check emails, catch up on reading, get work done, have a cup of coffee. No longer is it just my time, yet I cherish the 6am hour. It is my time alone with Hudson. While the big kids sleep, I get to nurse while still enjoying my coffee and editing. But then I get to focus on Hudson and her adorable smiles. The other day, I stopped to take a few photos of our time together. I'm so glad I did. I will cherish these photos as they are a reminder of my quiet mornings with my baby girl. I love how she is "chatting" with me in the photo on the left!
