Monday was the 10th which means it's time for the March 10-on-10! In case you've missed previous months, the 10-on-10 is where I take 10 photos of my day on the 10th day of the month. It's been a fun and challenging project as I have to think about how to capture my dad interestingly. Monday started out like most days, with the cats wanting food and attention while I'm trying to get as much done as possible before having to wake the kids up. Dakota usually sits nicely waiting for attention.

Milo loves to help make my coffee, and it's often the only thing that will make him jump out of bed.march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsWe were in need of groceries so it was off to the grocery store. Sawyer got to wear her adorable new shoes (girlie ones that weren't hand-me-downs from her brother)!march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsGrocery shopping with toddlers is quite the adventure. I don't do it often as they want to eat everything as soon as I put it in the cart or want to add other things to the cart themselves. But I braved the grocery store with them (and a camera)!march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsWe at least made it to the car before having a snack. The lighting on him in his car seat with the door open was to beautiful to not take a photo of him.march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsWith groceries unpacked, it was time for playing with trains. I love this train set. Though I build tracks and am so proud, yet Milo usually tears it down or Sawyer stops the train before I can watch my creation in action. Oh well. march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsAt lunch, Milo wanted to me to take his picture. He also wanted me to take a picture of his fork, his bowl, the bib. It was too cute. I did, of course, because I love that he's interested in what I'm taking photos of. I also bribed him that I'd take a photo he asked if he took a bit. He ate lunch. Win for mommy.march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsSomeone was very sleepy. So it was nap time for Sawyer!march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsAfter her nap, she had an explosive diaper. Be glad I spared you a photo of that! But it did mean bath time. She picked out the pink bath color since brother wasn't there to throw in blue.march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday momentsOnce Derek was home, it meant I could escape for a quick run with Sadie. After a busy morning, it was nice to stretch my legs and lungs a bit! After all the rain we've had, there was only one huge puddle to run through. Not too bad!march 10-on-10, personal photo project, capturing everyday moments

How would you capture your day? Have you tried this challenge yet? I encourage you to try a 10-on-10. I'm loving how it pushes me to be real with what I capture, not just the adorable moments, but the ones that seem mundane, like making coffee!
