My May 365 photos are complete! May went so quickly, and yet looking at my collection of the month's photos I had forgotten some of the fun things we had done. Just like previous months, I'm sharing a few of my favorites with the full May 365 photos down below. We started the month off in Oregon. My favorite activity was visiting the Oregon Zoo. It was Hudson's first time at a big zoo (unless as an infant going to Cougar Mountain counts!). She loved it. And had just started pointing at everything. Her expression with this fish just crack me up!May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerI went back to the basics this month and tried to focus on a few details that I knew I would hate to forget. Like Sawyer's first braid (below), or Hudson trying to put on her own socks, or the way each girl carries her baby everywhere (bottom below). The details of daily life are what make up our story, and telling our story is a big reason I'm doing this 365.May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie Photographer May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerI also wanted to capture a few settings of our favorite activities. The kids love playing in the playhouse. May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerI am fortunate to be invited for a retreat on Whidbey Island. It is a time for rest, reflection, laughter and personal projects. The sun setting over the barn (where all the "magic" happens) was a perfect way to capture the beauty of this trip.May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerDaddy was there too. I love that he's still a big kid at heart, excited to play silly games, like throwing a ball on the garage roof, in the backyard.May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerOr racing the kids down these big slides. May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerMy last May 365 photo was this one of sweet Hudson napping. I've been wanting to capture it for a while. It took some forethought (moving her crib by the window before nap for one) and sneaking in. I knew that one click of the shutter would wake her. I was right. But it was worth it (okay, it was also the end of nap time so it was okay to wake her), as I captured her in the sleep sack her siblings used, with her paci and the tattered dog lovie she has to have for bed.May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie PhotographerHere's a look at all of my May 365 photos.May 365 Photos, Lifestyle Photography, Snoqualmie Photographer
