I am SO behind on blogging all of the awesome families I photographed this summer! With school back in session, it is time to get back on track, sharing all of the fun I had with clients over the past few months – starting with sharing these photos of sisterly love. I know, usually it is “brotherly love,” but this is sisterly love.
As a mother, I admit that I can never have enough photos of my kids. As a photographer, photos are one of my favorite gifts to give to grandparents and aunts and uncles. So when these sisters came to me wanting to surprise their parents for their anniversary with photos of them together, I could not hold in my excitement. Before their shoot, I had thought about ways to help them relax so that I could capture their true relationship and sweet spirits. Yet, I didn’t need any of my techniques because these two are naturals, and they love each other so much. It was apparent with every click of my camera.
I have not smiled and laughed so much at a shoot in so long. I also left with goosebumps, and the thought that I had to talk to their mom to know what her secret was for raising two amazing girls.
There was twirling and dancing….
lots of laughing….
and a few quiet moments.
They even brought their soccer jerseys to show off their family’s love of the sport.
But mainly, we just chatted about the upcoming school year, laughed, and goofed around.
Thank you to these wonderful girls. Your sisterly love was so beautiful to capture.
