June Project Life

I know it is almost August, but I'm finally sharing my June Project Life pages! I admit, I am still a few weeks behind as I haven't started July yet, but I'm happy that I'm halfway done with my 2015 family album and it's July! Usually it's January of the following year. Or worse. The first week of June was pretty low key. I took the opportunity to photograph Milo with his grandpa as they read books together. And Derek even took a few photos of Hudson and I for my birthday post. We got a kiddie pool to help us keep cool. They were not impressed as they had to get in seconds after filling it with icy hose water! June Project Life, Print your PhotosThis week was full of mini shoots for my kids. We did our Fourth of July shoot, and Hudson turned 3 months. And Milo had his last day of preschool. June Project Life, Print your PhotosThis week was all about cooling off in the pool! After the sun had warmed the water, they were much more excited about it. We even had friends over to join in on the fun. And after a busy day of playing in the pool, I went in to get Milo from quiet time to find him fast asleep on his floor. June Project Life, Print your PhotosThe last week in June was the start of swim lessons for the big kids. Hudson had lots of time of her Activity Gym. And I captured a precious moment between Milo and Hudson as we were about to get out the door. (Tip: See why it's so great to always have your camera sitting out ready to take photos? You can capture moments like these without a big ordeal. A couple snaps and we were out the door!)

It was so much fun going back through June's photos. It's only been a month, but I can see how much has changed, and be reminded of those early summer memories we were creating as a family! Now to get started on July's pages. There was a camping trip, Hudson turned 4 months, and other fun adventures!

May Project Life

May Project Life! So we are halfway through 2015 (I know, scary huh?!) and I'm mostly caught up on my personal family album! Although I have a couple of weeks from June to work on, I'm still doing much better then last year! The first week in May, Hudson turned 2 months! Even now (a few months later) I can see how much she has already changed since then. We also celebrated Mother's Day and I had my first school Mother's Day Tea event.

May project life, digital project lifeSince I had a workshop this week, I kept things pretty low key around the house. Hudson had her 2 month check up (a little late), and I even went for a run with Sadie! I also took this week to document a few "Milo-isms" and "Sawyer-sims." May project life, digital project lifeDaddy went away for the first part of the week to compete in a US Open Qualifier. Though he didn't make it through we couldn't be more proud of him for going out there! And Mommy survived her first few nights on her own with 3 kids. May project life, digital project lifeReading, board games, and a trip to the zoo all to end the month of May! Hudson got a few super cute headbands from Manda's Boutique and as I was photographing her in them, Milo came in to snuggle his baby sister. It was too sweet not to capture.May project life, digital project life

The other day I put Hudson in a pair of overalls that Milo wore. He asked to see a picture of him in the same overalls. We spent an hour pouring over his baby books looking at photos of him and remembering things he used to do. It filled me with joy to be able to share these memories with him, and so glad I had taken the time to get the photos into an album!

April Digital Project Life

I'm loving my April Digital Project Life pages! For the first part of the month, Derek was still home for paternity leave and we had some great weather for getting outside! This week, Hudson turned 1 month old. During a few of her "mini sessions" both Milo and Sawyer came to help. We also spent time working out in the yard, starting our first big project in the yard! April Digital Project Life, Inspiration, Photograph the every dayThis was my first week all on my own with THREE kids! The whole family got to help in spreading the bark to finish up our yard project! (And you might notice a photo from a recent photo tip post!)April Digital Project Life, Inspiration, Photograph the every dayMore sunshine meant more time outside! There was Hudson's first trip to the golf course, playing in the yard, and park visits! I also took a few photos of Hudson's view during tummy time, as she watched Milo and daddy build a really tall tower! And let's not forget the photos of my mom with the kids as she helped me prepare for the Mom & Me Mini sessions!April Digital Project Life, Inspiration, Photograph the every dayYou may recognize several of these photos as I had shared our favorite Vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe a few weeks back! Just looking at those cookies makes me drool!April Digital Project Life, Inspiration, Photograph the every day

I also finally finished my 2014 album! I used a different method, and I got behind. But I can't wait until the book is in my hands!

I share these pages in hopes to inspire you to do something with your photos. Don't let them sit on your computer! My kids love looking through old albums and I'm proud to share that with them.

Like my digital project life pages? Check out January, February, and March!

March Project Life, Digital Project LifeSince Milo had a TWO birthday parties (one for friends, one for family) this week gets 3 spreads. These were photos from his Fire Truck themed birthday party. I also managed to snap his 4 year portraits just before the party started. March Project Life, Digital Project LifeThen it was time for his family party and the big reveal of his new Fire Truck bed. His face was priceless. And him and Sawyer played in bed the entire next morning.March Project Life, Digital Project LifeWith the party (and rush of making a huge bed) behind us, it was time to relax - well, sort of.
