DSLR Basics: Photography Workshop for Women
Saturday, October 19th | 9am - 4:30pm
DSLR Basics: Photography Workshop for Women. Let's face it, moms are the ones documenting their family's history. But the camera's manual is written in a foreign language, and auto mode doesn't capture what you want to capture. Yet us moms have a story to capture - the story of our family as it unfolds before us. That's why I offer a photography workshop for moms, to help women, like you, learn how to take control of her camera. In the workshop I breakdown the technical as I teach you to use a DSLR camera in manual mode. You learn to capture your family like YOU want to. Scroll below the image to register for the upcoming workshop!
DSLR Workshop Topics Covered Include:
How to set up your camera for success
Aperture, Shutter Speed, ISO
Understanding how focus works
Basics of composition, light & storytelling through photography
Basic gear/camera overview, understand your camera body and lenses
Putting it into practice.
After spending the morning learning all about your cameras, we get to practice on adorable and oh so photogenic babies and their mamas! Women not only have fun cooing over the adorable little ones, but also find it solidifies the materials as they practice on live models.
Transform your images.
This before and after photo is from Amy, a workshop graduate. You not only see a well composed image with a beautiful use of light and shadows, but a story of a boy and his grandma. What a transformation!
