Professional Pre-Session Guidance
Access to the client lounge. From tips on what to wear to help selecting the perfect location to what to expect and how to make the most of your session, Neyssa will ensure you feel prepared, relaxed and at ease for your family photo session.
The Photo Session
A fun, and laid-back family photo session. Neyssa will guide you through prompts and poses that allow you to focus on loving your family and having fun while she captures your family beautifully.
Sessions last approx. 45 min - 1 hour.
The End Result
Included with your session is a gallery of high resolution digital files (minimum 75 in both color and black and white) you can print & share with family!
Plus, enjoy a complementary 8x8 20-page album, professionally designed by Neyssa Lee Photography.
Family Photography Session
$1075 (+WA State Sales Tax)
Together, we will decide on the perfect location to capture your family - whether that's in the comfort of your own home, or in one of the beautiful outdoor locations in the Seattle area (from Snoqualmie Pass to Seattle).
Your session includes your entire gallery of (at least 75) high resolution digital files to use for personal use. Each family photography session includes a complimentary 8x8 custom lay flat album. You are busy, which is why I fully design the album for you. No extra work, just a tangible way to enjoy your family's photos.
Together we will create art, not just photographs. In my eyes art is something you display in your homes and show off to friends and families. Photographs are often hidden in a drawer (or on your computer). Ready to make art together? Contact me to reserve a session date.
*$400 deposit due to book. The remainder is due the week of your session.

I am a natural light, lifestyle portrait photographer. My work can be described as natural, fun, light and authentic. I became a photographer to capture the small, everyday moments and milestones of life and your gallery will reflect that. I am an all inclusive family photographer because I don’t want you to be forced to choose just five photos. I am not after that one “perfect shot” of everyone smiling at the camera.
I provide a large gallery showing genuine connections, personality and the spirit of your family as you are right now. In the end, I want you to look at your gallery of images and truly see yourself, to say, “this is my family, documented beautifully.” My hope is that you will want to display your photos as artwork, because that’s what they are – art.
01. WHAT KIND OF PHOTOGRAPHER ARE YOU?
As much as we'd like to believe our children are perfect angels, we know that just isn't the case. Kids will be kids. They are unpredictable and they don't always want their picture taken. However, I have been photographing families and kids for over 13 years now. I am also a mother to six kids under the age of 13. Trust me when I say, I have seen it all.
I'm not in the business of making children perform, pose, and smile just so. I may photograph the pout, but then I will suggest a new game or activity. I have plenty of tricks up my sleeves. Parents have told me time and time again, they can't believe the images I captured amidst all the chaos.
Chaos is the story of my life, friend. It is where my photography shines.
02. WHAT IF MY CHILDREN ARE CRAZY DURING MY PHOTO SESSION?!
I totally get it. You have made an investment in family photos and you don't want to spend the entire time drenched. I am a photographer in Washington State, flexibility is my middle name (okay, not really, but that's a big secret!). Leading up to your session I'm in contact watching the weather forecast. If things don't look good I offer several options.
1) We do the session in your home. Kids are often comfortable in their own home and this type of session allows for plenty of family details to be captured.
2) We select a location with cover. I have several favorite spots in the area.
03. WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
Once you have booked a family portrait session with me, we will start discussing the perfect location. I offer suggestions based on favorite spots that both show off the beauty of the pacific northwest while offering a perfect backdrop for family photos. I select locations that have beautiful light during the time of day your family needs your session, yet offers something for your family to do together - whether that is playing, exploring, throwing rocks, twirling in fields, or building forts in the woods.
I am also here to help you choose the right thing to wear. I guide you through the process, as much or as little as you'd like. Often clients will text me a photo of everyone's outfits laid out. While I want you to be YOU, I know you're making an investment and what you wear matters. I help ensure your photos are timeless while staying true to you.
04. WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I BOOK A SESSION?
The only type of mini session I offer is a mini maternity session, available to expectant moms when they book a newborn session with me.
My approach to photographing your family is to capture the entire story, and 10-15 minutes can just feel too rushed. Children need time to warm up, or get out the wiggles, while parents need time to relax into the processes. I am not about capturing that one “perfect photo” but a collection of images that tell your story, that show your love for each other. Trying to cram that into a short period of time is not only more stressful for mom and the kids, but leaves so much left out.

You want the family photo experience and to include everyone from your siblings to your parents.
A multigenerational family photography session focused on documenting everyone in your family.
These sessions give each smaller family unit a few photos together, while focusing on the larger group, cousins, and the grandparents.
Extended family sessions are playful, laid back, and not about that 1 "perfect" shot.
Includes a gallery of approximately 100 digital files and a 12x12 Custom Album, professionally designed by Neyssa Lee Photography.
Sessions are quick, relaxed, playful and last approximately 1 hour.
